Influence of vermicompost on growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) in coastal area of Bangladesh

An experiment was conducted at the research field in Department of Agriculture, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali, Bangladesh during period from March to July 2022 study effect vermicompost on growth yield okra. The laid out a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) comprising four treatments with three replications. were T0 (Control), T1 (Vermicompost 10 t ha-1), T2 15 ha-1) T3 20 ha-1). Green finger F1 okra used as planting material. Data recorded different stages plant viz, height, days flowering, fruit per plant, length, diameter, weight, weight plot hectare. All parameters statistically significant (P<0.01). maximum first flowering (47.31 days) while minimum for (40.67 found treatment height (100.43 cm), number fruits (22.13), length (13.60 diameter (2.01 (13.47 g), (198.02 (1.78 kg), hectare (17.8 whereas lowest data (Control).
